ABSTRACT: Innovations in vocational training for sustainable tourism management are critical for equipping future professionals with the skills needed to promote environmentally friendly tourism practices. This study aimed to identify effective innovations in vocational training that enhance sustainable tourism management, assess the impact of these innovations on students' practical skills, and evaluate student satisfaction with the training programs. A survey design was selected to gather comprehensive data from students enrolled in tourism management programs. The sample size consisted of 180 students from various vocational training institutes. Purposive sampling was used to ensure that participants had relevant experience with sustainable tourism education. The case study was conducted at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that innovative training methods, such as immersive simulations and eco-tourism projects, significantly improved students' understanding and application of sustainable tourism practices. Students reported high levels of satisfaction, appreciating the practical and forward-thinking nature of the curriculum. It was recommended that vocational training programs in tourism management continuously incorporate innovative teaching methods and provide ongoing professional development for instructors to keep pace with industry trends.
